When users have more than one state of market data provisioned to their profile, the data is displayed and filtered in one of two ways, depending on how many states are available.
1-3 States
Users that have 3 or fewer states provisioned will see the data for all states at once. Any provisioned states will be displayed at the top left of the heat map, as shown in the screenshot below:
The user in this example has both Arizona and Texas provisioned. In order to filter the data by state, a hidden column needs to be displayed. To do this, click on the Columns button below the heat map to see a list of columns available:
The State option is not selected by default. Click on it to add a State column to the table, which will display between the City and Zip Code columns. Simply enter the appropriate state abbreviation to filter for that state:
4+ States
Users that have 4 or more states provisioned will see a dropdown menu at the top left of the heat map:
Clicking on the dropdown will show a full list of available states for that user:
Clicking on a state will move the heat map to that state and load that state's data table.
Note: Even though a state may be provisioned, data may be limited to county or zip code access. This is determined by the data purchased by each organization, as well as the provisioning for each user.
