Where can I find market data in the mobile app?
The Heat Map in Mobile reflects the locations for rep activities, to assist in route planning while out in the field. Market Data profiles appear for Contacts and Facilities that:
- are within a user's assigned territory
- has an NPI which can be matched to a market data NPI
I understand what a decile ranking means, but can I find out what volume is in each decile?
This can vary from client to client, or from bucket to bucket, and so is not presented within Edge. Please reach out to your Account Manager for assistance.
What is the date range on the market data?

Do clients only receive Market Data for counties purchased?
Clients can only view Profiles for agencies or physicians within the counties that they have purchased. However, within the report, a client would see all the associated physicians or agencies for the report as a whole.
Example: A Trella Health customer has only purchased data for Davidson County, TN. When viewing the Physicians report for Davidson County all physicians applicable within the selected dataset will be visible, though only physicians within the purchased data will have a blue hyperlinked Physician Profile.
How is agency location determined in Market Data?
We use the Primary Agency Address listed in the NPI Registry to determine an agency location.
My agency name doesn't look correct in Market Data. Where is this name coming from?
We use the DBA associated to the NPI as listed in the NPI Registry to determine an agency name.
I do not see a user under Teams or in Reporting though I know they are an active user. Why are they not showing up in my hierarchy?
- Reporting hierarchies are set up in the Users tab. If a marketer is missing from your hierarchy, please reach out to your company's Edge admin to have the profile(s) updated.

I cannot see market data when I click on the Market Insights tab and/or the page does not load / is blank.

How does mobile sync work?
- Information syncs up to web immediately (or when connected to internet)
- Information syncs down from web on 1st login and then only again when a user manually taps “sync” in navigation
Contacts & Facilities
- Items brought down to the phone are all facilities and contacts in your geographic territory
- Matches the Accounts page on web
How do I complete a note from a few days before?
You can complete it as normal, but you can't backdate the time you completed it. Complete times can't be reset to a prior date, they are timestamped, though you can create notes ahead of time and it will show the date you originally put it on your calendar separately from complete date.
